As many of you know, I go to Aruba virtually every year.  My family and I have a timeshare on the beach. 

Unfortunately, the news lately coming from Aruba has been quite sad, but let's hope it has a happy ending.  For those of you who aren't aware, an 18 year girl from Alabama has been missing for a week.  She was in Aruba with other high school classmates to celebrate her graduation.

I certaintly hope this has a happy ending for this girl and her family.  I also feel terrible for the people of Aruba.  Aruba is a small island off Venezuela and gets a great deal of its income from tourism. It is also an extremely safe island with warm and friendly people.

An event like this can set the island back years.  I honestly believe this was an isolated incident by some terrible people.  I just hope it doesn't negatively impact the island and its people.  Most importantly...I hope this young girl is found alive and in good health.
