Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Lilian Benjamin. I currently head the technology department for Loducca, one of the premium advertising agencies in Brazil, located in Sao Paulo.

We are putting together a week that focuses on technology and it is development within contemporary culture. Provisionally called “Geek Week”, technology will be looked at in it is broadest sense. I thought of you instantly, as a fan of your work, and due to the popularity of ebay here in Sao Paulo. We are inviting some other key figures, such as Chris Anderson (confirmed), Jimmy Maymann, Paul Saffo, Alex Rigopulos, Mark Zuckerberg, Jason Creg, and would be delighted if you could join us.

We are hoping that you could talk about any current concerns you encounter through your work that you find particularly exciting and invigorating. Ideally we would aim for the talk to last roughly 30 minutes, using Skype to communicate. The event will happen on the week of 18th of May.

I know you are most likely very busy and buried in work and may even be tempted to just say 'no' immediately... But please don’t! I believe an interaction of this kind could prove immensely valuable.
